beIN SPORTS, is the online sports channel of the Mediapro communication group, wanted to give its audience the freedom to choose the content they want to see in its beIN CONNECT app.
How did you do it? The videostreaming application incorporates video-on-demand (VoD) functionality. ASM Web Services was commissioned to develop this solution, which is increasingly popular in the media and entertainment industry. The application is already a reality. In addition to the video-on-demand functionality, the app has a new video player, the HSS Player.
The player is more stable than the previous one and offers higher performance, two fundamental ingredients to prepare the recipe commissioned by the beIN SPORTS makers: improving the user experience. BeIN SPORTS viewers can now enjoy its content where, how – the app is available for iOS and Android – and whenever they want.
